Wedding - Between Canberra and Penang

Our wedding was kinda like a roadshow. As Alex puts it, we were taking our wedding on the road, starting with Canberra to Penang with a stopover in Singapore and finally to Hong Kong. Which bride would pass up on the opportunity of getting married 3 times to the same man? :p By that I mean the whole joy of getting dressed up, made up, receiving gifts and being a continous high for 3 weeks!

We made a quick stopover in Singapore prior to landing in Penang and here are first shots we took in a leisurely manner as husband and wife. We have been to Singapore many times before, to the same touristy spots before but taking the pictures this time did hold a different meaning. Brand new feeling. It was nice.

We were flying in the upper deck. The wonderful side of economy class. Took a picture of my seafood meal for remembrance. Will do this again real soon! I'm so an SIA supporter.

The beautiful sunrise of the southern hemisphere from many many many feet up in the air.

Taking a windy shot in front of the Merlion. Alex can barely keep his eyes open. Sunglasses are so useful.. they block out sun glare and even keeps the wind at bay! :p I'm so lame...

At the fountain of wealth at Suntec City. This was our 3rd time here. We were quite bored so we did the 3 time walk around the fountain per the instructions at the water spout.

At the Koi pond at Suntec City. Like said, we were kinda bored :)

Oh and the main purpose of the Singapore stopover was so we could ride in the Upper Deck vs the regular economy. There wasn't a connecting flight to Penang after that flight until the following day hence we decided to do a quick stop in Singapore. Also, I love this shop at Raffles City in the basement and I jump at any excuse I get to go there. THE SOUP SPOON! I love the soups here. Alex and I take yearly trips to Singapore and at every trip, we HAVE HAVE to stop here. I'm such a sucker for thick, creamy soups. YUM! Do go try it out... they just opened one in Changi too! Even better for me!
