Here are some shots we took from our own cameras. You can tell from the 'lack of professional angles' it was taken with :) Most of the time our hands were shaking or we were too rushed to take good pics anyways.

The pralines we had as table gifts that night - I'm told they were really yummy. I didn't get to try it. Unfortunately no one at the main table took any back. Seriously, no one! So if any of you tried it, tell me if the yummi-ness is true :)

Oh yeah, I should mention that the bridal house was hassling me to buy fake eyelashes, for the wide eyed look - to increase the drama in my eyes so to speak. I flat out refused because I wanted to look as natural as possible for the dinner. I don't regularly wear fake lashes so it wouldn't look like me.

Also, they were pushing to sprinkle shiny dust all over my face and my hair and my body to which I gave a very significant NO. Even then, they insisted. So I relented a little and said very little will do. That 'very little' was still too much for my liking and when they were done, I sneakily wiped most of it off :) Shiny gold dust is so tacky. So disco. So urgh. I'm so not in high school prom age anymore.

Anyway, I have lots to update and so behind time because I was waiting for the Penang pics to arrive before posting some other stuff. Will continue tomorrow...
