Wedding Day - Morning

We woke up at 6am, bright and early to get ready. I had arranged for my hair and make up to be done at the house to lessen my stress and anxiety. That was a good move. Brides to be, take my advice. If you can, always arrange for those two to be done without you having to rush from one place to another. Having to account for traffic and possible delays on the biggest day of your life is not pleasant.

If anyone in Canberra is reading this and may be interested to use the services of the two girls who did our hair and make up, here are their contacts below.

Airbrush Makeup - Suzy 0404189848
Obsess Hair Studio - Mira 0422604471

These ladies did a good job and here are the shots of the 3 hours before the church.

Table full of make up

Mom looking great in her outfit

Dad looking handsome bar the house slippers :)
Oh mirror, mirror not on the wall.... who is the fairest of them all?
I love how Mira did the twists and turns.. looks voluminous yet its all my own hair!

All done - Now to get changed

The white shoes didn't see much of the day -giving them some credit here :)

Waiting for the accessories

Shot taken at our banisters before I made my way down the stairs

Deborah and I - She ended up being partly photographer and fully a videographer for the day. She did a good job too! I think we just discovered a possible sideline for her :)

Taking a short breather on the couch

Reliving the Last 21 Days

We are back! The past 3 weeks has been a rush from preparing for one big event to another. So the coming posts will rehash our experiences and memories from those days. There will be heaps of pictures so for those who have limits on their internet account, you have been warned. :)

Before I continue, I just want to thank everyone who helped us out in big and small ways during the church wedding in Australia, the dinner in Penang and the dinner cum trip to Hong Kong. We appreciate all that was done because it really did take a lot of pressure off our minds during the events. It was good to have had help from people we trust.

So just before we post the pics, let me just give a rundown of the dates to help with the timeline.

5 July - Church Wedding in Australia
12 July - Dinner in Penang
16 July - Trip to Hong Kong
22 July - Back in Australia

More to come.......
